Tutify

Our teachersCAIEEdexcelAQASelected & trained

Get a teacher experienced enough to fix the real gaps — and friendly enough that your child actually looks forward to class.

We don't hire by degree title. We hire by subject mastery and exam performance — top performers, selected and trained on our system before they lead a single exam class.

Find my child's teacher

70+ teachers · 800+ families taught · 4.9/5

Managing thirty students and getting one student to an A* are completely different skills.

Our teachers do the second. They've aced IGCSE and A-Levels themselves, they know today's exam inside out, they remember exactly where marks slip away — and they coach your child one-on-one to win them back. That's what actually lifts a grade.

1-on-1 attention

A Tutify teacher

Your child is the only student. Every question answered, pace set to them.

A typical classroom teacher

Built for 25–30 students; individual attention is structurally impossible.

Extra time & access

A Tutify teacher

Available on WhatsApp between classes; extra time when exams are close.

A typical classroom teacher

Bound by school hours and a fixed timetable.

Safe to ask "silly" questions

A Tutify teacher

Close in age and approachable — students aren't afraid to admit what they don't understand.

A typical classroom teacher

Many students stay quiet in a full class, afraid to look behind.

Owns the outcome

A Tutify teacher

Accountable for your child's result — homework, quizzes, progress, all tracked and reported to you.

A typical classroom teacher

Accountable for the whole class's curriculum coverage, not one child's grade.

Knows exam difficulty firsthand

A Tutify teacher

Remembers exactly where students lose marks — because they navigated it themselves, recently.

A typical classroom teacher

Teaches the content; the exam-pressure memory has faded.

A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER

I built Tutify for the student I used to be.

I did my IGCSEs in 2017 and my A-Levels in 2019 — and for a lot of that time, I struggled. Not because I couldn't do the work, but because of how it was taught. My teachers were experienced, but distant and quick to make you feel small. So I did what a lot of quiet, struggling students do: I stopped raising my hand. I just sat there, falling behind, too unsure to ask.

When I finally tried online one-on-one tutoring, I got matched — almost at random — to a teacher with an M.Phil who taught every board under the sun. He knew the subject. But when I asked him the question that actually mattered — "I understand the topic, but how do I write the answer the way the examiner wants?" — he went blank. That was the moment I understood the real problem. Knowing a subject and knowing how to win marks in it are two completely different things. Almost no one was teaching the second one.

So after my A-Levels, I started teaching Mathematics to IGCSE and A-Level students myself — but I taught it differently. Not just concepts, but technique: I'd study the examiner reports, learn exactly where students lost marks, and train my students to answer the way the exam rewards. It worked. And in 2021, while at IBA, I founded Tutify to do it properly, at scale.

Since then, every step has been about getting this right. I hired the best teachers I could find — people who actually know the exam, not generalists stretched across every board. Together with my team, we learned from our mistakes, refined how we match and monitor teachers, and in 2026 we launched a fully automated portal so parents can see every session, every report, every step of their child's progress.

I'm still here, every day. Teachers and parents can reach me whenever they need to. Because my motive hasn't changed since I was that quiet kid who stopped putting his hand up:

No child at Tutify should ever feel too unsure to ask — or be left guessing how to turn what they know into the grade they deserve.
